Agenda

In the agenda you can see what is currently going on at the Boerenbondsmuseum. From 24 March to 3 November, demonstrations will be held every Sunday and there will be regular special activities that show life in a Brabant village at the beginning of the last century.

Geboortehuis Pater van den Elsen Gemert

Gerlacus van den Elsen: the farmer's apostle

Father Gerlacus van den Elsen, born on April 13, 1853 in Gemert and died on April 24, 1925, is honored as a "farmer's apostle" for his contributions to Dutch agriculture. The Boerenbondsmuseum is located at the birthplace of Father Van den Elsen, founder of various cooperatives. As a result, the museum is literally on the birthplace of cooperative ideas.
