Without bees, life on earth would not be possible. Bees and other pollinating insects are extremely important for everything that grows and blooms. Bees that are kept by a beekeeper also provide delicious honey and other products.
You can come and see how a beekeeper keeps bees and what he has to do for it at the Boerenbondsmuseum on Sunday 14 July from 13:00 to 17:00. Children can make candles from beeswax and of course also taste the delicious honey that our own bees have collected.
Honey from the museum’s bees is also on sale in Hove Vogelsanck.
