13:00h-17:00h
On Sunday 3 August, the museum will once again be dedicated to the annual harvest day. The wheat and grain in the fields is harvested again with manual power and the help of the horse. This harvest day attracts a lot of attention every year. You can see how a mite is set and corn is picked up under the hay hood. That’s hard work, but the women also came by in between with food and drinks, and so do we. Come and taste the atmosphere of such a harvest day for yourself!
The NCB Destructor is also the focus of this day. In the NCB building, you can see that the destructor used to do very sustainable work. From the animals that died on the farm, everything was 100% processed into other materials, such as glue, leather for shoes and jackets, etc. Volunteers will be present in the building this Sunday who can tell you all about it.
