The Vogelsanck
This is the central building of the Boerenbondsmuseum. In the Pater van den Elsenzaal, up to 120 people can enjoy a cup of coffee, a nice drink or something to eat. The bust of Father Gerlachus van den Elsen has been placed in the restaurant.
In the attic of Hove Vogelsanck, the monastic cell of Father Gerlachus in the Norbertine Abbey of Berne in Heeswijk has been recreated. In this cell there is a statue of Gerlachus in habit with his feet in a basin of water. He did this to stay awake longer to do all the writing. There are also all kinds of objects that remind us of his working life, which was entirely devoted to the improvement of the peasantry.
In the N.C.B. room you can see a presentation on agriculture over the period 1900-1940.
